Kenyan artist Stivo Simple Boy has always presented himself to fans and the public as a symbol of humility.
From the onset of his rise to fame, and even after earning recognition and some financial stability, Stivo has consistently maintained a modest lifestyle.
However, the star recently stunned his followers after momentarily switching gears and pulling a “rich man’s move” while having fun at a local entertainment spot.

Nairobi News understands that Tanzanian billionaire Chief Godlove treated his Kenyan friends to a night of merry-making, and Stivo Simple Boy was among those invited.
It was during their outing at a Nairobi club that Godlove purchased an expensive bottle of Azul liquor to share with his Kenyan hosts, including Stivo and content creator 2Mbili.
The party was so lively that Godlove decided to wash Stivo Simple Boy’s hands using the pricey alcohol.
In a video posted on Godlove’s social media pages, Stivo could be seen washing his hands with Azul as the group enjoyed their night out.
2Mbili was also captured washing his hands, face, and legs with the liquor, but it was Stivo who attracted the most attention following the luxurious display.
Shortly after the video was uploaded, Kenyans flooded the comments section expressing their shock.

Many questioned what had changed in Stivo, noting that just months ago he was known for his simplicity and would never have been associated with such extravagant acts.
Some were also surprised to see Stivo around alcohol, considering he once released a hit song advising youths to stay away from alcohol and drugs.
A number of netizens suggested that if Godlove truly wished to help Stivo, he should instead give him money that he and his wife could put to better use, rather than splurging on alcohol.
A quick online search shows that a 700ml bottle of Azul liquor costs approximately Sh63,000, making the gesture and the night’s activities quite the talking point.
