Forex trading seems to be a lucrative career, enriching young Kenyans for the past few years.
Quite a number of young forex traders have been triggering jealousy among Kenyans with their flashy lifestyles.
From high-end cars to exotic holidays and ridiculous spending, the new crop of young forex traders are proving by the day that the industry pays dearly.
To bring the aforementioned closer home, forex traders Nebz and his wife Nyathira recently broke the bank to buy one of the most expensive TV sets in Kenya.
The couple recently shared a video of themselves at an electronics shop purchasing a 100-inch LG OLED TV worth a whopping Sh1 million.
In the video, both Nebz and Nyathira seemed excited while making the purchase and even canceled the discount that had been granted for the TV.
According to the two, they decided to splash the money on the TV specifically for their movie room.
“We are about to spend 1 million shillings on a TV that we really want for our movie room. So we are getting the LG 100 inch which is going to our movie room. So we are here to, you know, spend a million,” Nyathira said.
She was cut short by her man, who tried to explain where they got the money for the TV.
Nebz disclosed he recently raked in Sh10 million from a forex trade, and fans wanted to know how he would use the money.
“Guys, I withdrew Sh10 million live. Nikasema hiyo pesa inaenda kufanyia nini? Haya. Ndio hiyo Sh1 million tunaenda kuaribu sasa hivi. I’m about to spend Sh1.2 million on a TV,” Nebz said.
“Usiweke discount mzee. Nataka ikiwe hivyo nisikie vizuri. Eh? Siku imefika baby wangu. I’m so excited. I’m so excited. Ndo hii. 100 inch iko hapo nyuma. Unajua watu hawajuii difference ya hizi ma OLED, Nano cell na vile huwa zinamean a lot,” he added.
The purchase left jaws on the floor, with countless netizens wondering how rich one can be to buy a Sh1 million TV set.
This, however, did not come as a surprise to many, as the couple is known for their flashy lifestyle.
Not long ago, Nyathira melted hearts online after surprising her man with an extravagant Sh2.6 million cash gift as he turned 26.
To celebrate her husband’s birthday, Nyathira showed off bundles of cash that she said she wanted to give her husband.
“It is my husband’s birthday, and his gift is here. So my husband is actually turning 26, and this is our first year celebrating his birthday as a married man. I am shooting in the car because I do not want him to see this. He is turning 26, and I have Sh2.6 million to gift him because this is Sh100,000 for each year. I have really wanted to do this, but I could not when he was my boyfriend because dust is constant,” she said.
It should be noted that Nebz had earlier bought his wife a Toyota Harrier on their grand wedding day, in a move that was lauded by many.
