Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Human Capital Development and Special Programmes, Geoffrey Ruku, has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to making public services more accessible and affordable for all citizens.
Speaking during a public participation and engagement forum at Ciangera Market in Evurori, Mbeere North, Embu County, the CS emphasized that no citizen should bear unnecessary costs to access government services.
He noted that his ministry will work towards decentralizing services as part of efforts to actualize Article 232 of the Kenyan Constitution, which advocates for efficient, accessible, and citizen-focused service delivery.
Ruku has been visiting various places to inspect service delivery at large. He has pushed civil servants to be fair in their work.
