How to Change Voice on TikTok

TikTok has become one of the most creative platforms for short videos, thanks to its wide range of filters, effects, and editing tools. One popular feature is the voice-changing effect, which allows users to modify their voice in funny, dramatic, or robotic tones. This adds a fun twist to videos and can help make your content more engaging and entertaining.

Recording Your Video

To change your voice on TikTok, you must first record a video using the app. Open TikTok and tap the plus (+) button at the bottom of the screen to begin. You can either record a new video by holding the red record button or upload a video you’ve already recorded from your gallery. If you want to apply a voice change, it must be a video that includes your original voice recorded through TikTok.

Once you finish recording, tap the red check mark or “Next” button to proceed to the editing screen.

Accessing the Voice Effects Option

After recording your video, you will see several options on the right-hand side of the screen. One of these options is called “Voice Effects.” Tap on it, and a list of available voice filters will appear. These may include effects like chipmunk, baritone, robot, echo, vibrato, and others, depending on TikTok’s latest updates.

Simply tap each voice effect to preview how it will sound when applied to your voice. Try out a few until you find one that fits your style or the tone of your video. Once you select a voice effect, it will be applied to your recorded audio.

Saving and Posting Your Video

After selecting your desired voice effect, you can continue to make other edits like adding text, stickers, or music. When you are satisfied with your video, tap “Next” to move to the posting screen. Here, you can write a caption, add hashtags, choose who can view your video, and finally tap “Post” to share it with your followers.

Remember that voice effects only work on original audio recorded through TikTok. If your video uses music or imported sound, the voice-changing option will not be available.

Changing Voice with Third-Party Apps

If you want more advanced voice-changing features or want to modify a voice before uploading it to TikTok, you can use third-party apps. Voice changers like Voicemod, AudioLab, or other mobile apps allow you to edit audio before posting. After creating your modified audio, you can upload it along with your video on TikTok.

Whether you’re making a funny skit, storytelling, or just trying something new, changing your voice can make your content more exciting and unique. Keep exploring new filters and effects as TikTok continues to update its creative tools.
