Deleting a Comment You Posted on Someone Else’s Video

Scroll through until you find your comment. Once located, press and hold on the comment. A pop-up menu will appear on the screen. From the menu, tap on the ‘Delete’ option. The comment will be removed instantly and cannot be recovered once deleted.
Removing a Comment on Your Own Video
For creators, maintaining a respectful and positive environment on their content is important. If someone leaves a comment on your video that you find inappropriate, offensive, or simply unwanted, you can easily delete it. Go to your profile and open the video containing the comment. Tap on the comment icon to access the full list of comments. Locate the specific comment you want to remove. Press and hold on that comment until the options menu appears. Deleting Multiple Comments at Once

It is important to note that you can only delete comments that you have made or comments posted on videos you own. TikTok does not allow users to delete comments on other people’s content unless it is their own comment. Also, once a comment is deleted, it cannot be retrieved.
