Sensational Kenyan vocalist Iyanii has stunned his fans and the world after disclosing that he is still a virgin.
Iyanii left jaws on the flow after confirming he has managed to maintain his purity even after hitting 27.
The musician’s revelation came barely a fortnight after he publicly introduced his new babe, Shes Kemunto during a live performance.
Speaking during a candid interview with Alex Mwakideu on his podcast, the Donjo Maber hitmaker revealed that he has not been sexually active with Kemunto, despite having been in a relationship with her for less than a month.

In the video which was uploaded on Mwakideu’s YouTube channel on the evening of Saturday, September 20, 2025, Iyanii said he introduced Kemunto to his fans after dating her for only a week.
He reiterated that he had not been sexually active with any lady before he met Kemunto.
“I have been dating Kemunto for a week now. Since we met, it has only been a week, and my point is that when you meet the right person, you do not need a whole year to get to know each other. Before Kemunto, I was not seeing anyone sexually. By the way, I am still a virgin, and even Kemunto will agree with that. I am 27 years old, and I am serious about it,” Iyanii disclosed.
According to the musician, the choice to maintain his virginity even after hitting 27 was intentional.
He revealed that he had been in romantic relationships with other ladies before who expected him to break his virginity with them but broke up with them before accomplishing the mission.
Iyanii insisted that his sharp focus on his music has always grounded him for all those years.
He noted that he pursued a relationship with Kemunto because she respected his boundaries and accepted his decision to abstain from sex before marriage.
Iyanii explained that at 27 years old, he has maintained his virginity deliberately, having previously ended relationships with people who expected him to break it.
“The reason I broke up with previous partners was that they wanted me to lose my virginity, which I did not want to do. For now, I still do not want to. I used to tell them that I was focused on my music, and Kemunto accepted that, which is why I am dating her,” he said.
He disclosed that he may be with Kemunto but their physical interaction is strictly limited.
Iyanii stated that they only hug for some seconds, accompanied by deeds to express their love, gratitude and affection towards each other in his young relationship with Kemunto.
“Even now, we are not having sex. The farthest we go physically is hugging, and even that has rules. The hug is not supposed to last more than five seconds; we just say ‘I love you’ and ‘thank you’ and end it there. I like her personality and the respect she gives me,” he added.
He wrapped up by saying that he loves Kemunto for her laid back demeanor, respect and personality, adding that she has made him experience qualities he rarely encounters in other women.
“Kemunto respects me, and I have not seen that with many women. She is laid-back, and I feel she has a lot of potential. Personally, she is an amazing woman from how I know her,” he stated.

This comes barely a fortnight after he introduced Kemunto to his fans for the first time ever during his performance at the Kisii Festival held at the Carnivore Grounds.
Iyanii called Kemunto midway his performance and flaunted her to fans who responded with deafening cheers.
Until then, the star had never introduced any lady to Kenyans as his lover, rather had kept information about his private life under wraps.
