Former Bonfire Adventures Managing Director Sarah Kabu, who now goes by Sarah Mtalii, is in love again and is not shy about showing it off to the world.
Nairobi News has learned that Sarah Kabu has moved on to a new relationship about three years after her divorce from ex-husband Simon Kabu.
On Saturday, December 27, Sarah posted a video of herself welcoming her “Summer Bunny” boo to her new establishment, Mtalii Bush Camps in Nanyuki.
In the video, the new CEO was seen running towards her man and embracing him romantically as she ushered him into their new establishment.
Dressed in all-white linen, Sarah seemed on top of the world as she reunited with her new man, whose name has not yet been publicly disclosed.
Watching the video, it is clear that the two are deeply in love.
It is not yet known when the couple began dating, but Sarah made it clear in her caption that her partner is her pillar of strength.
Judging by their conversation in the video, Sarah’s new man lives in the Diaspora and had just landed in Kenya, making it a point to check in on his partner.
“#teamsarahmtalii join me to karibisha PILLAR OF STRENGTH @mtaliibushcamps Nanyuki,” she captioned the video.
Countless netizens who interacted with the post congratulated Sarah on her newfound romance.
Sarah introduced her new man to the world roughly three years after parting ways with her ex-husband, Simon Kabu.
Following their divorce, Sarah shared the reasons behind her exit from the marriage.
Speaking during an interview with YouTuber Christine Lewis, Sarah revealed that the issues that ultimately ended the marriage had spanned ten years.
The businesswoman spoke about a range of challenges, from baby mama drama to her children being taken by their father, though she did not go into specifics.
According to Sarah, she was tired of leading a double life, posing as the perfect couple on social media while suffering in silence behind the scenes.
“It reached a point where I said I don’t want to live a fake life anymore. I want to live as my true self. Sometimes people are inspired by me, but they only see the good part; they don’t see the bad,” Sarah revealed.
“Many saw us as humble people, and that made us soft targets for bad actors. That’s why you sometimes see me push back. Seventy percent were very good people,” she added.
During the March 2022 interview, the former Bonfire Adventures MD revealed that one of her New Year’s resolutions was to end the marriage, which had begun to wear her down.
“We had been discussing separation because I told him I wasn’t comfortable in this marriage. I was tired of faking it, and we were in discussions. I wanted a peaceful separation and even co-parenting,” she explained.

She also admitted that the baby mama drama had been overwhelming, especially after the couple began publicly exchanging lavish gifts online.
It is important to note that Kabu had two children from previous relationships, a boy and a girl, before meeting Sarah.
“One of the baby mamas is very dramatic. Sometimes she insults him and sends me messages… at one point, he wanted to bring one of the kids home, but I told him to provide support from a distance because I wanted my family close,” she said.
“I didn’t come to pick you from one of their houses; I found you a young man with nothing, and we built ourselves together… but lately, after our public display of gifting our children properties, the other kids have become very aggressive,” Sarah added.
While Sarah has introduced her new partner, Simon Kabu has not disclosed whether he is in a new relationship.
He has been fully focused on promoting his tours and travel business and recently introduced his grown daughter to the public, hinting that she could be the heiress to his legacy.
