Kilimani detectives recover stolen glock 19, arrest four suspects

Kilimani detectives have recovered a Glock 19 pistol that was stolen from a hotel room, arresting four suspects in connection with the theft.

The incident occurred when a licensed firearm holder returned to his Kilimani hotel room to find it ransacked.

Among the missing items were a Glock 19 pistol and two magazines loaded with 30 rounds of 9mm ammunition.

The complainant immediately reported the theft to the police, prompting a swift investigation.

Investigators launched a detailed inquiry, including forensic examinations and tracking of potential leads, which ultimately led them to Kangemi in Dagoretti North.

There, detectives apprehended Alex Agar, Harrison Oyuoma, Dan Karani, and Beatrice Njoki.

During a search of their residence, the stolen firearm was recovered, along with evidence suggesting the suspects may have been planning to sell it on the black market.

Police say the suspects are cooperating with investigators, and further inquiries are underway to determine whether they were involved in other similar incidents in Nairobi.
