A middle-aged man is currently evading capture after allegedly stabbing and killing his girlfriend in what authorities suspect to be a love triangle incident in the Kasarani area of Nairobi.
The woman’s body was discovered in a pool of blood at the man’s residence following the event on the night of Friday, November 1. Police have identified the suspect as the son of a well-known landlord.
The deceased’s body has been transported to the mortuary for an autopsy and further investigation.
Officers involved in the case are actively searching for the suspect, urging him to turn himself in.
“He is known to us and is on the run,” stated an officer familiar with the investigation.
In a separate incident, a 46-year-old woman collapsed and died in a lodging in Nakuru Town.
She checked into the establishment alone on October 29 around 6 p.m. but began exhibiting breathing difficulties shortly after arrival and collapsed.
Despite attempts to assist her, she passed away minutes later, according to the attendants.
Police who responded to the scene found her lifeless body on the floor and recovered various medical medications from her bag, suggesting that she may have been unwell.
Her body has been sent to the Nakuru Annex County mortuary for an autopsy.
Meanwhile, detectives in Njoro, Nakuru County, are investigating a murder case after the body of an unidentified male was discovered along the roadside.
Police on patrol discovered the body, which showed signs of multiple head injuries and had one hand severed at the wrist.
The body has been taken to the Egerton mortuary for preservation and identification following the incident on October 30.
In Matungulu, Machakos County, the body of 70-year-old Boniface Musyoka was located in a thicket at Kwa Kasee village.
Police arrived at the scene and noted that the body exhibited no visible signs of injury.
An investigation is in progress to determine the cause of death. In Mbooni, Makueni County, the decomposed body of a man was found in a thicket in Kisuvuoni village.
Upon discovery on Wednesday, some body parts appeared to be mutilated.
The remains have been transported to the Mbooni sub-county morgue for identification and autopsy, and police are working to ascertain the identity of the victim and the circumstances surrounding his death.
