According to the deceased cousin and family spokesman, preparations for his burial have been both financially and emotionally straining.

The family has pleaded with Kenyans of goodwill to help in giving Kariuki a befitting send-off.

These include providing a state of the art hearse and a white casket.

Mike Sonko also promised to buy late Kariuki a suit for burial and even sent Sh. 150,000 to assist the family in catering for food expenses during this hard time.
