Mumias East legislator Peter Salasya has joined the short list of Kenyans who have been defending singer Guardian Angel’s wife, Esther Musila, against trolls mocking her over her age.
Salasya, on Friday, January 16, took to social media to tell off Musila’s critics as he urged her not to be derailed by the haters.
The politician posted a screenshot showing a heated exchange between Esther Musila and netizens who were calling her out for being arrogant despite her advanced age.
He urged everyone mauling Musila to respect her and her age, noting that most of them may not be lucky enough to hit 50.
“To those insulting my in-law Esther Musila over her age, please stop it. Age is just a number. Imagine she is 50 and you are insulting her, saying she is old, yet maybe you are 25. What if something happens and you die before reaching 50 and she lives to 100? Who is the loser?” he wrote.
Salasya went on to encourage Musila to forge ahead and not listen to naysayers.
He noted that he would not mind marrying a 50-year-old woman who is blessed with killer curves and edges just like Esther Musila.
Salasya insisted that Esther should focus on building her marriage and not listen to critics who are just jealous of her.
“My in-law, no one should shake you down. In fact, old is gold. Keep soaring. Even if I find someone your age with a figure like yours and she loves me, I wouldn’t refuse, as long as she has money and doesn’t stress me with upkeep 😆. Keep soaring and growing younger each year as those insulting you keep ageing daily and faster,” he added.
It should be noted that Musila has weathered the storm for years now, having dealt with massive criticism over the age difference between her and Guardian Angel.
Unlike other notable personalities who let everything slide, Musila has been dealing with her haters directly, slamming them whenever they attack her over her age.
Her move to respond to critics has not done her any favour, as people continue to blast her whenever she tackles her haters.
