The reserved legislator officiated his romantic union with the love of his life, Monicah Mugure, on Valentine’s Day (Saturday, February 14).
The couple looked dazzling as they showed up for the wedding at a Catholic church.
The bride looked stunning in a ballerina gown, while the groom complemented her look with a white suit that had a touch of black.
Nairobi News understands the wedding was attended by top government officials, family, colleagues and friends.
A throng of politicians and celebrities were present at the ceremony, among them CS Geoffrey Ruku, who offered brief but heartfelt remarks to the MP as he began married life with his wife.
Other notable personalities who attended the wedding included YouTuber and aspiring politician Kogi Investor, as well as Kiambaa MP John Wanjiku, widely known as Kawanjiku.
In a Facebook livestream shared by CS Ruku, MP Mburu is seen dancing with his wife on the dais, joined by family members and close friends.
Guests later proceeded to an afternoon wedding luncheon at the Glee Hotel.
Photos and videos from the wedding ceremony impressed many netizens, who thronged the comments section of Ruku’s post with congratulatory messages.
