Social media users are up in arms after controversial forex trader Kenyan Prince shocked viewers by flashing a pistol during a TikTok Live session.
The young trader, who has often been accused of flaunting his wealth online, appeared on the live stream holding what looked like a firearm, a move that immediately sparked outrage among Kenyans.
In the viral clip, the lad could be heard half-joking that he didn’t want to show off the weapon for fear that DCI (Directorate of Criminal Investigations) would come after him.
However, moments later, he boldly brandished the pistol, claiming he was “educating his followers on the dos and don’ts of being a gun owner.”

While he insisted the act was harmless, many netizens were far from impressed.
Several users called him out for recklessness, warning that displaying a firearm online is illegal under Kenyan gun ownership regulations.
Others went further, branding him a “wannabe gangster” and speculating that he might be using the weapon to intimidate or even scam unsuspecting Kenyans.
“If that gun is licensed, then he should know better than to flaunt it on TikTok. That’s not how responsible gun holders behave,” one user commented.
The stunt is just the latest in a string of online antics that have seen him fall out with sections of his once-loyal fanbase.
Critics accuse him of being another flashy youth who let sudden wealth get to his head, turning social media into a stage for his erratic behavior.
