Netizens Shook As Comedian Njugush Uses Abel Mutua Multi-Million Ride To Hawk Vegetables

Kenyan comedian Timothy Kimani alias Njugush has once again left fans in stitches after turning fellow actor and filmmaker Abel Mutua’s luxury SUV into what looked like a mobile vegetable carrier.

The comedian, popularly known as Njugush, sparked massive reactions online after sharing a hilarious clip using Abel Mutua’s sleek Land Rover Discovery to ferry sacks of cabbages from the market before pretending to hawk them by the roadside.

In the now-viral video, Njugush is seen driving the high-end vehicle to Soko Mjinga market, where traders loaded the back of the SUV with fresh cabbages.

The luxurious ride, commonly associated with prestige and class, suddenly looked more like a biashara vehicle than a celebrity car.

The comedian then drove off and parked by the roadside, where he jokingly began marketing the vegetables while also plugging his upcoming TTNT show tickets.

In his comedic pitch, he teased fans with “buy one get two free” offers as he blended business promotion with humour.

The skit became even funnier for fans after reports emerged that Abel Mutua is currently out of the country on a trip to China alongside his wife Judy Nyawira and comedian Eddie Butita.

Njugush seemingly took advantage of his best friend’s absence to “repurpose” the expensive machine in the most unexpected way possible.

This is not the first time the two close friends have publicly joked about each other’s cars.

Back in 2023, Abel Mutua proudly showed off the Land Rover Discovery shortly after upgrading from a Mercedes-Benz.

At the time, he jokingly bragged that the vehicle was on another level compared to Njugush’s Toyota Prado.

Fans online could not keep calm after seeing the luxury SUV packed with vegetables like a delivery van.

Some netizens hilariously claimed Abel Mutua might regret ever leaving the keys behind, while others joked that the car had officially been transformed into a “pickup.”

One fan wrote:

“Gari yako imegeuzwa pickup.”

Another joked:

“Utafanya Abel Mutua aonge Kichina.”

Others were amused by how random passersby and even matatu drivers allegedly spotted the comedian selling cabbages by the roadside.

A different social media user commented:

“Funny how his matatu just passes by sasa driver anaona mdosi akitafuta unga.”

Another netizen hilariously noted that the video looked so realistic that one could easily bargain for the vegetables if they found Njugush in traffic.

The clip has further cemented Njugush’s reputation as one of Kenya’s most creative comedians, especially when it comes to blending ordinary life situations with relatable humour.

His friendship with Abel Mutua has also become one of the most admired celebrity friendships in Kenya, with the duo constantly supporting each other’s projects while entertaining fans through playful online banter.
