Content creator Oga Obinna has taken to social media to celebrate after finally earning his first degree.
On Friday, December 5, he was among thousands of graduands from Mount Kenya University (MKU).
The comedian announced the milestone in a heartfelt social media post.
In the post, he shared photos of himself wearing a graduation gown and cap, declaring that he had “just graduated.”

He expressed deep gratitude to God and reflected on his journey from humble beginnings to academic achievement.
He revealed that financial constraints after high school had prevented him from attending university, but through perseverance, he achieved his goal.
He wrote in part:
“From the village to the city, from life on the streets and the hustle, to the classroom, today I graduate with a FIRST-CLASS HONOURS Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media and Communication (PR option) 🎖🥇 from MKU. It was possible all along! 💁🏿”
He thanked God for guiding him when few understood his path.
He also gave himself praise for trusting his instincts and never giving up, calling this his “first degree,” with “many more to come, in shaa Allah.”
The entertainer went on to thank his family, lecturers, and schoolmates for making the journey easier.
News of his graduation with First Class Honours attracted a flood of congratulations from well-wishers who filled the comments section of his post.
MKU sources corroborate that the media personality graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media and Communication (PR option) with First Class Honours.
