Omena vendor killed in knife attack near her home in Migori

A 56-year-old woman was stabbed to death by an unknown assailant near the gate of her home in Nyatike, Migori County, in a suspected targeted attack.

Mary Akinyi Ouko, an omena vendor from Nyandema F Village, was attacked on Friday night as she returned home from Nyandema Market.

According to police the incident occurred in Ongoche Sub-location, South Kadem Location.
