Controversial preacher Pastor Victor Kanyari has revealed that he has finally regained access to his two children, months after publicly accusing his former wife’s husband, Hiram Gitau alias Tash, of preventing him from seeing them.
The emotional revelation came during a recent sermon at his church, where the Salvation Healing Ministry founder thanked God for what he described as a breakthrough in his long-running battle to reconnect with his son and daughter.

Kanyari Says He Can Finally See His Children
Addressing his congregation, Kanyari shared his joy, telling worshippers that he had finally been allowed to spend time with his children after weeks of public appeals.
The preacher explained that the development had brought him immense peace, noting that all he had wanted was an opportunity to play his role as their biological father.
His announcement comes just days after he had accused Tash of blocking him from accessing the children following the death of gospel singer Betty Bayo.
Kanyari Calls Out Tash During Sermon
During the same sermon, Kanyari did not hold back as he criticized Tash, accusing him of focusing on raising another man’s children while allegedly neglecting his own.
The preacher argued that every father should prioritize his biological children before attempting to assume responsibility for someone else’s family.
He insisted that he had never sought conflict but only wanted to be present in his children’s lives.
According to Kanyari, Tash should concentrate on his own parental responsibilities instead of trying to take over his role as a father.
“I would like to thank Akothee, Eko Dydda, Mosiria because their noises brought some little change. We are not yet there but so far so good. And for now I am with my children Sky and Danny. Nowadays they are camera shy, they fear trolls. I wanted to ask that other man, he has his own kids but he’s neglected them and now he wants to focus on mine. You cannot take my children when am still alive. I also have issue with some MPs, won’t mention them but leave my children alone, I want to raise them myself,” Kanyari said.
Kanyari’s Message To The Congregation
While speaking passionately from the pulpit, Kanyari celebrated finally being reunited with his children and maintained that no one should separate a father from his offspring.
He told the congregation that his greatest desire had always been access to his children and that the recent breakthrough was an answered prayer.
He further emphasized that a man should not abandon his own children while attempting to raise another person’s family, remarks widely interpreted as being directed at Tash.
Custody Dispute Has Dominated Headlines
The issue of Kanyari’s children has remained a topic of public interest since the passing of his former wife, gospel singer Betty Bayo.
In recent weeks, Kanyari repeatedly claimed that he was being denied access to the children, Sky and Danny, alleging that Tash had restricted communication between him and the youngsters.
He also maintained that, despite his past differences with Betty Bayo, they had successfully co-parented while she was alive and that he respected the boundaries they had established.
Tash has, however, remained largely silent regarding Kanyari’s latest remarks.
With Kanyari now announcing that he has finally reunited with his children, many Kenyans hope the family can resolve their differences privately and prioritize the well-being of the two youngsters following the loss of their mother.
