Coast-based photographer Michael Baya, popularly known as Machampali, has given Kenyans an exclusive, up-close glimpse of former Mombasa governor Hassan Joho’s luxurious Dolce & Gabbana sneakers worth approximately Sh116,000.

Known for his impeccable fashion sense and larger-than-life personality, the former county boss never spares any expense when it comes to stepping out in high-end outfits and spreading good vibes wherever he goes.

Joho recently wowed his followers and Kenyans at large after appearing in yet another luxury statement piece, a bold pair of designer sneakers.
As a key figure in the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), he was among the dignitaries who attended the party’s 20th anniversary celebrations held in Mombasa.
The celebrations, which kicked off on Friday, November 14, saw the former governor arrive in a striking ensemble.
Dressed in an orange polo T-shirt and jeans, Joho completed his look with an eye-catching pair of orange Dolce & Gabbana designer sneakers.
He later shared several photos of his outfit, particularly highlighting the sneakers, sparking widespread reactions online.
Dozens of netizens flocked to the comments section to praise his bespoke fashion sense.
While many lauded his choice of shoes, others admitted they had not managed to get a proper look at them.
Only a few images of Joho wearing the D&G sneakers had gone viral, leaving fans craving more details.

In response, photographer Machampali dipped into his archives and released several high-quality photos showcasing different angles of the pricey sneakers.
The exclusive images accessed by Nairobi News gave Kenyans a much closer and clearer view of Joho’s footwear.
Quite a multitude of Kenyans took to different social media pages to heap praises on Machampali for being such a talented photographer who understood his assignment by taking the best shots of Joho’s kicks.
A quick online search by Nairobi News revealed that the sneakers retail at around Sh116,000, with some exclusive editions fetching even higher prices.
The Dolce & Gabbana Super King sneakers are regarded as one of the boldest luxury footwear models globally, thanks to their premium Italian leather, limited colourways, luxury branding, and signature oversized “Super King” sole design.
