YouTuber turned forex trader Presenter Ali has come out to dispel rumours that there is trouble in his marriage with wife Medina.
Nairobi News understands the alleged marital woes started when his fans noticed he had unfollowed Medina on Instagram.
A section of netizens ran with the story, holding that Ali and Medina had parted ways hence the former’s decision to unfollow the latter on IG.
Well, the forex trader recently watered down the allegations while appearing in an interview with Trudy Kitui on her YouTube channel.

Through the video which was uploaded on YouTube on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, Ali confirmed all was well in his marriage as he pleaded with fans to accord them privacy and let them enjoy their marriage in peace.
According to the former content creator, unfollowing his wife on Instagram did not necessarily mean they had broken up.
He noted that the decision to unfollow Medina had nothing to do with the state of their union.
Ali insisted that one can have very close friends whom they do not follow online and gave himself as a perfect example.
He said that unfollowing someone on Instagram does not automatically translate to the end of a marriage.
The forex trader added that Kenyans should not view an unfollow as a sign of separation.
“As for the unfollowing, honestly, it is not only she that I have unfollowed on Instagram. For me, when you follow someone, it means you want to keep up with their life and their content. If at some point you feel you do not want to follow that anymore, then you can unfollow them. That does not mean you have broken up, it only means you have stopped following each other. To put it simply, I just wanted my own space,” Ali said.

He wrapped up by admitting that indeed many relationships face a lot of challenges but it is up to the involved parties to iron them out without opinions from outside.
News of Ali’s alleged breakup came not long after he resigned as a YouTuber and ventured into forex trading.
Supporting his decision, Ali noted that he had conquered everything in the content creation world and needed a new challenge.
He stated that he was confident he will be successful in forex trading having underwent some trainings to aid him in making the right trading decisions.
