Content creator Presenter Kai has been dealing with scathing attacks and negative criticism from social media users after posting a photo of himself at his rural home in Chonyi.
On the night of Tuesday, August 26, 2025, Kai posted several photos of himself hacking firewood outside his mother’s kitchen as he disclosed he had been instructed by the mum to help her with the firewood.
“Nimefika home mamangu akasema nipasue kuni tupike 🤣🤣🤣huku home ni raha sana 🤣,” he wrote.

The content creator may have posted the photos innocently but the same disappointed a section of his followers on Facebook.
A multitude of netizens who camped in the comments section of his photo post dragged him online, holding that his mother deserves better.
According to his critics, he should have built his mother a modern kitchen owing to his current bloated fortunes.
A host noted that being a celebrity, he should consider giving his mother’s home a decent facelift.
