President William Ruto’s Son George To Launch Sh.14 Million Matatu With DJ Decks And Luxury Bucket Seats


President William Ruto’s son, George Ruto has over time proven to be a trendsetter in the matatu business.

The President’s son, according to highly reliable sources is set to launch a new multi-million matatu that is set to give competitors a run for their money.

Nairobi News has learnt that George Ruto, an astute matatu industry businessman has recently been spending much time in the garage to supervise the ‘pimping’ of his soon to be launched matatu dubbed Mood.

In a bid to grow his growing public transport empire, George is said to have poured money in a brand new matatu with unique features set to hit the roads in the next few days.

According to a matatu industry enthusiast and insider who sought anonymity, George Ruto’s new matatu that will come with a complete DJ turntables and live deejay will ply the the Embakasi and Rongai routes.

The insider intimated that the President’s son allegedly splashed over Sh 14 million just to soup up the new matatu.

Sources intimate to the owner have revealed that the matatu will be fitted with 65-inch TV screens, solar panels and other cool additions , all imported from China.

Nairobi News got exclusive access to photos of the interior of Ruto’s new matatu and can confidently disclose that it will cause ripples in the matatu industry upon it’s launch.

The launch of Mood, the new matatu comes not long after the rerouting of yet another fancy matatu owned by George Ruto, known as Manifest from Rongai to Embakasi following a streak of controversies over its conduct on the road.

Photos of George Ruto’s new matatu have fast gone viral online, igniting Nairobi residents who have publicly disclosed they cannot wait for it’s official debut.

While many people look forward to enjoy rides in the fancy matatu, insider reports indicate that the vehicle could be diverted from the usual PSV routes and serve in the private and cooperate sector, specifically for hire.

Doom, the new matatu became the talk of town after Ruto’s son was pictured posing next to it holding a customised number plate.
