He was first signed by Brisbane Broncos rugby league football club in 2002 and made his NRL debut the following year, in a match against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs rugby league club. Most notably, he scored his first NRL try in 2005 while playing against Parramatta Eels rugby league club.
In 2006, his team won the NRL Premiership title. In 2011, he became the team’s captain where he led until 2014 when he stepped down.
Later on, he achieved 300 NRL games milestone in 2018 . He retired at the end of the 2018 NRL season after 304 NRL games, 40 tries and 16 seasons.
State of Origin series
