Effective August 1, 2025, the Madaraka Express Suswa Leisure Train has revised its timetable to better accommodate passengers traveling between Nairobi and Suswa.
The updated schedule includes key stops at Rongai, Ngong, and Mai Mahiu, aiming to enhance convenience and travel efficiency, especially for weekend and leisure commuters.
The changes are part of ongoing efforts to improve connectivity along the scenic route and ensure that passengers can plan their journeys with greater ease and reliability.
Updated Suswa Train Timetable
For the morning departure from Nairobi to Suswa, the train will follow the schedule below:
- Nairobi Departure: 08:50 AM
- Rongai Arrival/Departure: 09:14 AM – 09:19 AM
- Ngong Arrival/Departure: 09:34 AM – 09:39 AM
- Mai Mahiu Arrival/Departure: 10:24 AM – 10:27 AM
- Suswa Arrival: 10:55 AM
For the afternoon return trip from Suswa to Nairobi, the schedule is as follows:
- Suswa Departure: 04:05 PM
- Mai Mahiu Arrival/Departure: 04:30 PM – 04:33 PM
- Ngong Arrival/Departure: 05:20 PM – 05:25 PM
- Rongai Arrival/Departure: 05:40 PM – 05:45 PM
- Nairobi Arrival: 06:10 PM
