Popular Kenyan content creator and social media star Thee Pluto has officiated his union with his new lover Wanjiku in a colourful traditional wedding.
The couple held their ceremony on January 3, 2025 in a Ruracio, a Kikuyu traditional marriage rite that unites two people in the presence of family, friends and elders.
The socal media influencer and Wanjiku have not been dating for very long, but they chose to honour their union in a way that respects culture and tradition.

The ceremony was full of colour, joy, and cultural practices, as relatives and close friends gathered to witness the start of their new life together.
News of the Ruracio was shared by Thee Pluto himself on social media.
He posted a video showing the whole ceremony with people dancing, elders speaking wise words, and families giving blessings.
In his caption, he wrote about the depth of their union and the meaning behind the traditional rite.
In the heartfelt caption, Thee Pluto said:
“Love was not rushed, it was honoured. Before two hearts could become one, families gathered, elders spoke wisdom and tradition took its rightful place. Rũracio is more than a ceremony; it is a sacred agreement, witnessed by heaven and sealed by culture. In humility, we came before our people. In love, we gave and received. In faith, we stepped into a covenant greater than us; one rooted in respect, patience and purpose. This was not just the union of two souls, but the merging of histories, prayers, and generations. May the same God who watched over our ancestors bless this journey, guide our steps, and keep love at the centre of it all. I honoured my ancestors and they honoured me back. Tradition met romance, culture met faith and love found its rightful foundation.”
Before this new chapter, the former forex trader was in a long-term relationship with Kenyan influencer Felicity Shiru.
The pair dated for nearly three years and shared a daughter together, but in September 2024 they announced their separation on Instagram, saying they had decided to go their separate ways and would co-parent peacefully.
After the breakup, he took time to heal and focus on himself before starting a new relationship with Wanjiku.
The colourful Ruracio marked a fresh beginning one rooted in honouring tradition, family, and love.
