Kenyan-born content creator and social media personality Vindee has revealed that he has reconciled with his mother following their recent public fallout.
The two have seemingly put their differences behind them after the mother reached out to Vindee, leading to an emotional conversation in which they addressed issues that had strained their relationship.
According to Vindee, his mother apologised during the conversation, prompting him to also seek forgiveness for anything he may have done wrong to her or his siblings.
Vindee chooses forgiveness and peace
Sharing an update with his followers, Vindee said the conversation had helped bring closure and allowed the family to begin healing away from the public eye.
He wrote:
“My mother called me, and we talked things out. ❤️ She apologized, and I also asked her to forgive me if I have ever wronged her, as well as my siblings. At the end of the day, family is family. I choose forgiveness, peace, and love. 🙏🏽❤️”
Vindee further made it clear that he does not intend to continue discussing private family disagreements on social media.
“I don’t want to bring family matters online anymore. Some things are better healed privately.”
His remarks signal a shift from the public nature of the disagreement, with Vindee now choosing to handle the matter away from social media scrutiny.
Vindee plans Kenya visit
Vindee also disclosed that he plans to travel to Kenya the following week to meet his mother in person.
According to him, he wants to be physically present for his mother, particularly because he believes she may not have been in the best condition at the time.
“I’ll be coming to Kenya next week to see her in person. Maybe she wasn’t in the best condition, and I just want to be there for her. ❤️🙏🏽”
The planned visit is expected to give the family an opportunity to reconnect away from the cameras and social media.
A different approach to family disputes
Vindee’s latest message also highlights his decision to prioritise reconciliation rather than prolonging the disagreement online.
Family disputes involving public figures often attract intense attention, particularly when private disagreements spill onto social media.
In Vindee’s case, however, his latest update suggests that the focus has now shifted from the public fallout to forgiveness and rebuilding the relationship.
By asking his mother to forgive him while also accepting her apology, Vindee has presented the reconciliation as a two-way process rather than placing blame on one side.
His decision to stop discussing family matters publicly could also mark the beginning of a more private chapter as he prepares to return to Kenya and spend time with his mother and siblings.
For now, Vindee says he has chosen “forgiveness, peace, and love”, signalling that he would rather see the family relationship healed than continue the disagreement in the public domain.
