Why Can’t I See My TikTok Profile Views?

TikTok’s profile view feature allows users to see who has visited their profile within the past 30 days. However, some users find that they can’t access or view their profile visits, leading to confusion or concern. If you’re experiencing this issue, several factors could explain why the feature isn’t available or visible on your account.

Profile Views Feature Is Not Turned On

One of the most common reasons you can’t see your profile views is because the feature is not enabled on your account. TikTok gives users the option to activate or deactivate profile view history. To check this, go to your TikTok profile, tap the eye icon (if available) at the top of your profile page, and enable the feature from the settings. If the eye icon isn’t visible, you might need to access it via the “Privacy” settings under “Profile view history.”

You Must Follow Each Other to See Views

The profile view feature only works if both you and the person viewing your profile have the feature turned on. If someone visits your profile but has disabled profile view history, their visit won’t appear on your list. Similarly, if you don’t have the feature enabled, you won’t be able to see who viewed your profile at all.

You’re Not Eligible Due to Age or Account Type

TikTok restricts some features based on age. If you’re under 16, the profile view feature may be disabled by default for your safety. Additionally, business or creator accounts may have different feature availability depending on your region or current app version. Switching back to a personal account might help restore access if profile views are crucial for you.

Outdated TikTok App Version

Using an outdated version of the TikTok app can prevent certain features from working properly. If profile views are missing, check your app store to make sure you’re using the latest version of TikTok. Updating the app may restore any missing features and ensure compatibility with TikTok’s newest tools and settings.

TikTok Is Testing or Limiting Features

Sometimes, TikTok tests new features with limited groups of users before rolling them out more broadly. If you previously had access to profile views and now you don’t, TikTok may be updating or temporarily removing the feature in your region. Unfortunately, users have no control over such experimental changes, and the feature could return without notice.
