Willy Paul Wittingly Calls Out Jalang’o For Leaving Him Out Of Luo Festival

Musician Willy Paul is off the leash, if his recent social media posts are anything to go by.

Barely a fortnight after poking fun at Bahati over his Sh 1 million promise to Harambee Stars players, the star seems to have picked yet another victim of his witty online ‘attack’.

Willy Paul has come out to question Lang’ata MP Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o on the criteria used to pick performers for his popular event, the Luo Festival.

Taking to his official Instagram page barely two days after the Luo Festival went down, Pozee asked Jalang’o why he did not include him in the list of performers at the ceremony.

For context, Luo Festival is a brand under Jalang’o who has been hosting it way before becoming a legislator.

In his Instagram post, Willy Paul posted a video of himself in his liquor store looking all flashy as he asked Jalang’o if he is not Luo enough to earn himself a spot on the list of performers at the 2025 Luo Festival that went down at Uhuru Gardens on Saturday, August 9.

In the video, Willy Pozee was heard asking Jalang’o if he is not Luo.

According to communication students, Pozee cleverly put Jalang’o on the spot for not booking him for the Luo Festival.

“Jalang’o, kulikuwa na Luo Festival ilikua yenyewe lakini Mimi niko na swali….kwani sikuangii mjaluo, eeeh sikuangi mjaluo? Sikuangi mjaluo bro?” Willy Paul wrote.

His post sparked mixed reactions on social media with many people who commented on it holding he sincerely deserved to be among the performers at the Luo Festival.

Others, however, noted that Jalang’o left out Pozee because he did not want him to irritate rich Luo revelers with his shenanigans during the event.

Just recently, Nairobi News reported how one of the performers at the Luo Festival, Khaligraph Jones disclosed he was booked not because of his talent but because he is rich.

Jones, midway his set at the event addressed an issue that had sparked debates online.

The rapper, midway his performance wondered why some people were bitter he had been included in the event.

To clear the air and bring things into perspective, the star publicly revealed that he was picked because of his affluent lifestyle, which is mostly associated with Luos.
