“They Offered Me Sh 2.4 Billion to Stop Preaching Jesus”, Nairobi Apostle Shares Shocking Cult Recruitment Attempt

A Nairobi apostle has left Kenyans stunned after revealing how he allegedly turned down a jaw-dropping Sh 2.4 billion offer from a mysterious organisation that wanted him to abandon his Christian beliefs and join what he now believes was a cult network.

The pastor, identified as Apostle Frank, narrated the chilling experience during an interview with Tuko News, saying the incident happened when he was still a young preacher struggling to keep his ministry alive in Nairobi’s Kawangware area.

According to the preacher, life at the time was extremely difficult.

He said paying rent for the church and handling daily ministry expenses had become nearly impossible, forcing him into constant financial stress.

It was during that difficult season that he allegedly received an email from a man linked to a church organisation that claimed it supported struggling ministries.

The message praised his preaching style and acknowledged the financial challenges he was facing.

Initially, the offer sounded like a miracle.

The organisation reportedly promised him an initial payment of $19 million, approximately Sh 2.4 billion, to transform his life and ministry.

Apostle Frank admitted that at the time, the amount was unimaginable for someone barely surviving.

The pastor revealed that he was in his mid-20s and desperate for a breakthrough.

He explained that even a fraction of the money would have changed his life completely, making the offer highly tempting.

However, things took a disturbing turn after he sought clarification on what the organisation expected in return.

According to him, the first condition was that he had to stop praying for people in the way he normally did.

He claimed the group did not want believers to experience manifestations associated with the Holy Spirit, including speaking in tongues.

The second demand shocked him even more.

The organisation allegedly instructed him to completely change his preaching style and avoid mentioning Jesus Christ, salvation, or the blood of Jesus in his sermons. Instead, he would only be allowed to preach motivational and inspirational messages.

Apostle Frank said the group also wanted him to enrol in their special Bible school, where he would be retrained on how to minister according to their beliefs.

The preacher admitted that despite the alarming demands, he briefly considered the offer because of the financial hardship he was going through at the time.

But one person changed everything, his wife.

After reading the email, she immediately warned him against accepting the deal, insisting that no amount of money was worth compromising his faith.

She allegedly suspected the organisation could have been linked to Freemasonry or a cult-like movement targeting vulnerable pastors.

Her warning forced him to rethink the entire situation.

The pastor eventually rejected the offer, saying he feared the spiritual consequences of abandoning his beliefs for money.

The revelation has since sparked widespread debate online, with many Kenyans expressing shock over claims that some religious groups allegedly target struggling pastors with huge financial promises.

The story also reignited conversations around controversial teachings in modern churches, prosperity gospel criticism, and the growing concern over manipulation within religious institutions across the world.

Over the years, several former clergy members globally have opened up about alleged secretive religious networks that use wealth, influence, and power to recruit charismatic preachers.

While some claims remain unverified, such testimonies continue to fuel public curiosity and suspicion around hidden organisations operating behind the scenes.

Apostle Frank’s story has particularly resonated with many believers because it highlights the financial struggles many young pastors silently endure while building ministries.

Despite rejecting billions, the Nairobi preacher says he has no regrets, insisting that staying true to his faith mattered more than living a wealthy life detached from his beliefs.
