The family of Angela Moraa, a Kenyan woman residing in the United States who was found dead alongside her boyfriend, Vincent Bosire, in Kisii County, has shared alarming details leading up to her death.
They allege that Moraa was subjected to torture before succumbing to her injuries.
The family claims they had made multiple reports to the Keroka Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) regarding a suspected hitman who had been stalking Moraa and issuing death threats.
“We are sharing what we experienced our daughter’s skull was fractured, there was significant bleeding in her brain, and she had been severely beaten from the knees upward,” stated Edward Omuoyo, the family’s spokesperson.
Despite filing an official report at the station, the family suggests that little action was taken until Angela disappeared mysteriously.
Her body was later discovered in a rental house, already beginning to decompose.
While Bosire’s family asserted that Angela had made several suicide attempts prior to her death, her family vehemently refuted these claims.
Moraa and Vincent were laid to rest separately in Moitunya and Kenyerere villages in Nyamira County on Friday, December 13, following the disturbing revelations about their deaths.
This tragedy unfolded days after the couple was found dead in a rental unit in Nyanchwa, Kisii County.
According to the landlady of the apartment and Bosire’s cousin, the police were alerted after Bosire’s whereabouts became a concern.
Reports indicate that Bosire had been admitted to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital (KTRH) and discharged on November 26, but he became unreachable by phone, and his house was locked from the inside.
Upon receiving the report, officers from Nyanchwa Police Station arrived at the scene, confirming that the door was locked.
After breaking in, they discovered two bodies lying on a mattress in the living room.
Police noted that while Vincent’s body appeared relatively fresh upon arrival, Angela’s body showed signs of significant deterioration.
Additionally, used syringes were found next to the bed, suggesting that the couple may have used injections prior to their deaths.
