“I am fully committed to delivering this 750-kilometer road because Norhtern Kenya has left behind for far too long.
The president’s remarks come in response to online criticism regarding his details knowledge of the road and towns in Mandera and Isiolo.”
Meanwhile Deputy President Kithure Kindiki defended the government’s effort, saying the focus is on delivering key infrastructure projects on time.
“I was with the President recently in Nothern Kenya.
Some people mocked the long road he was discussing, but I was pleased to see their skepticism because I have information they don’t.
This road will be built,” Kindiki said.
“people can mock online, but we are focused on getting the job done.
This project isn’t just talk construction is underway, and it will be completed before 2027.”
