Peaceful co-parenting and healthy coexistence between divorced couples is possible, and Tanzanian singer Ali Kiba and his Kenyan ex-wife Amina Khalef have just proven it.
On the afternoon of Thursday, December 11, Khalef shared a heartwarming photo of Ali Kiba spending quality time with his children at an undisclosed location.
However, judging from the image posted on her Instagram Stories, it appeared the family was relaxing in a well-decorated living room, likely Amina’s home.
In the photo, Kiba is seen holding his son as they all watched something on TV.
The star and his boys sat together on a couch, enjoying a precious father-sons moment.
The picture was undeniably adorable, perfectly capturing what looked like a happy, blended family scene.
Kiba seemed fully immersed in daddy mode and did not appear to notice Amina taking the candid snap that quickly melted hearts online.
Although Khalef did not caption the image, it impressed many netizens who said they were delighted to see the two co-parenting peacefully and keeping their children happy.
This wholesome moment comes three years after Ali Kiba and Amina Khalef finalized their divorce.

In 2022, Amina filed for divorce and demanded KSh 200,000 in monthly upkeep.
She cited negligence, saying she was exhausted from being publicly disrespected and forced to live as a married woman while she and Kiba were already separated.
“I have seen the need to address this since it’s becoming unbearable. I am tired of being disrespected publicly since people do not understand what happens when you are living in someone’s shadow as their wife,” she said at the time.
She further accused the Bongo Flava star of living freely while still keeping her in his shadow “in the name of protecting his brand.”
The two kept a low profile after their split, choosing not to publicize details of their post-divorce relationship, until the recent heartwarming photo.

In April 2025, Ali Kiba confirmed that he and Amina had settled their differences amicably and that he was even seeing someone else.
The couple exchange marital vows in colourful wedding ceremonies held both in Tanzania and Mombasa, Kenya.
It was attended by various notable personalities including former Mombasa County Governor Ali Hassan Joho.
