How to Remove the TikTok Shop Tab from Your Profile (for Casual Users)
If TikTok Shop is appearing on your profile and you’re not a seller, it might be because you interacted with shopping content, accepted TikTok’s terms for creators, or mistakenly enabled the feature.
To remove or hide it:
On Android or iOS:
- Open the TikTok app.
- Go to your profile by tapping the bottom-right icon.
- Tap the three lines (≡) at the top right to access Settings and Privacy.
- Tap “Orders” or “TikTok Shop” if visible.
- From the Shop interface, look for the settings icon or a menu.
- Look for the option to “Unlink” or “Deactivate” your shop access or selling features.
If you don’t see any option to disable TikTok Shop, it’s likely just integrated into your profile due to recent updates — in that case, you can limit exposure by not engaging with shopping content and adjusting your ad and interest settings.

How to Delete or Close a TikTok Shop Seller Account
If you’re a registered TikTok Shop seller and want to permanently remove your store, follow these steps:
Step 1: Log in to TikTok Shop Seller Center
- Visit https://seller.tiktokglobalshop.com
- Sign in with your registered account.
Step 2: Request to Close Your Shop
- Click on your Account Settings.
- Look for “Shop Status” or “Account Management.”
- Select “Close Shop” or “Deactivate Account.”
- TikTok may require you to:
- Clear all outstanding orders.
- Resolve return/refund requests.
- Withdraw all remaining funds.
- Complete verification.
Step 3: Confirm Closure
Once you’ve completed the requirements, TikTok will review your request and confirm account closure within a few business days.

How to Stop Seeing TikTok Shop Content on Your Feed
Even if you’re not a seller, TikTok may show shopping-related videos on your For You Page. To limit this:
