Kenya Airways (KQ), the country’s national flag carrier, has announced a special promotional campaign offering customers significant discounts on both international and domestic return flights.
The limited-time offer, made in partnership with Mastercard, gives travelers a chance to enjoy savings of up to 15% on base fares.
According to a statement released by the airline, passengers can access the discounted fares by booking through the Kenya Airways website or mobile app using the promotional code MASTERCARD25.
The offer applies exclusively to Mastercard consumer cards including prepaid, debit, and credit and is valid for bookings made between May 5 and May 31, 2025, for travel up to November 30, 2025.
Key highlights of the promotion include:
- Up to 15% off base fares on return international flights.
- Up to 7% off return domestic flights to Kisumu and Mombasa.
- Applicable only on Kenya Airways-operated return flights.
- Offer excludes carrier-imposed charges, government taxes, and surcharges.
- Blackout period: July 1 – August 31, 2025.
Kenya Airways clarified that the discounted rates are based on published fares and subject to seat availability at the time of booking.
The promo code cannot be combined with any other promotional fare or offer, and standard fare rules including penalties, fare differences, and change fees will still apply.
Additionally, the airline noted that fare variations may occur due to exchange rate changes or regulatory adjustments in taxes and fees.
The airline and Mastercard reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of the promotion without prior notice.
Travelers are encouraged to make early bookings to take full advantage of the offer, which aims to encourage air travel while offering value to customers using Mastercard for their payments.
