Cabinet Secretary Onesimus Kipchumba Murkomen on Wednesday joined Deputy President Prof. Kithure Kindiki, other leaders, mourners, and bereaved families at a solemn prayer service held in honour of the six victims of last Saturday’s tragic helicopter crash in Chepkiyep, Nandi County.

Family members, friends, and leaders from across the political divide gathered to offer prayers for the departed and to seek strength and comfort for the grieving families.

Speaking during the service, leaders described the deceased as men of valor, dedication, and deep commitment to both their families and professional callings.
They urged the nation to remain united in solidarity with the bereaved during the difficult period of mourning.

The prayer service concluded with calls for unity and reflection, as mourners honoured the memories of the six men and prayed for eternal peace for their souls.
