Oscar Sudi Calls Out Club Owner For Assaulting Bella Comedian; “Surrender To Nearest Police Station”


Legislator Oscar Sudi has come out to condemn violence against women after an Eldoret-based businessman was captured on camera physically assaulting comedienne Bella Comedian.

Taking to his Facebook page on Sunday, August 10, the Kapseret MP called out Pavilion Lounge proprietor Motiriot Kipkosgei for attacking the entertainer at Kasarani, Nairobi.

In his post, the politician posted a video showing Kipkosgei raining blows and kicks on Bella as a surging crowd that had milled around watched.

Oscar Sudi strongly shunned violence against women as he urged the Motiriot to surrender to the nearest police station.

He insisted that such violent acts against women is unacceptable.

“The assault on Bella Comedy by Motiriot Kipkosgei, aka Pavilion Kipkosgei or Pavilion Lounge, is concerning. Violence against women is unacceptable.Kipkosgei surrender yourself to the nearest police station,” Sudi wrote.

Reports reaching Nairobi News intimate that Motiriot has gone into hiding with police launching a search for him.

 

Bella Comedian suffered grave injuries and is said to be traumatised by the incident.

It is not yet clear what or rather why Motiriot assaulted Bella Comedian but a section of netizens disclosed it was all because of a joke by the latter about the former that did not auger down well with the businessman.

The video of the assault went viral on social media, prompting countless netizens to call for the arrest of the Pavilion Lounge owner.
