Detectives from the Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau (CRIB) in Kilimani have arrested a suspected burglar and recovered a range of stolen items valued at approximately Sh900,000.
The suspect, identified as Daniel Mosomi Saisi, was linked to a break-in reported by two residents of Serengeti Court in Kileleshwa, who reported that their homes had been forcibly entered during the night.
According to investigators, the suspect allegedly gained access to the residences under the cover of darkness and stole various valuables before fleeing the scene.

“Following the reports, detectives launched an intensive manhunt that led to the arrest of the suspect in Kangemi,” the investigators said.
Saisi was apprehended at Millennium Apartments along Thiongo Road, where officers recovered several stolen items believed to have been taken during the burglary.
Among the recovered goods were a base-proof light headset, a gaming console charging system, an iPad 11, a JBL portable speaker, an iPhone 14 Pro Max, and PlayStation accessories, which were later identified by the complainants.
“Most of the recovered items were positively identified by the victims as their property,” detectives added.
The suspect is currently in custody and undergoing processing ahead of arraignment in court.
