Detectives in Nairobi are investigating the death of a man with a history of epilepsy whose body was discovered near City Stadium.
Ayub Serenge, 39, was found lying near the stadium wall with no visible injuries.
Police said they were alerted about the incident and responded promptly.
While the family suspects he may have been attacked while walking near the area, police are treating the December 8 incident as suspicious and have moved the body to the mortuary for an autopsy.
In another incident in Luanda, Vihiga County, a construction worker, Reuben Kabaka, 34, tragically lost his life after a wall he was building collapsed.
Police said Kabaka was completing the construction when the wall caved in, trapping and killing him instantly.
His body has been transferred to the Coptic Mission Hospital mortuary pending a postmortem examination.
In Chokaa, Nairobi County, a bar altercation turned fatal when 28-year-old George Kebaso Omosa was stabbed in the chest.
Police reported that an argument between Omosa and another patron escalated, leading to the suspect grabbing a knife and attacking him.
The assailant tried to flee but was caught by an angry mob and handed over to the police.
The deceased’s body was moved to the mortuary, and the suspect remains in custody as investigations continue.
Meanwhile, in Cherengani, Trans Nzoia County, a timber worker was killed after being struck by a falling tree.
Moses Manyonge Wafula, 45, was cutting down trees he had purchased for timber when one of the trees fell on him, killing him instantly.
Police have confirmed the December 8 accident and moved the body to the Trans Nzoia County Referral Hospital mortuary for further investigation.
Authorities are continuing investigations into all incidents to establish the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
