Rapper-turned-minister of God Bamboo’s brother, Clarence Kimani, popularly known as Kimya, is officially off the market, Nairobi News has learnt.
This is after the laid-back rapper exchanged marital vows with the love of his life in a private wedding held on Sunday, December 7, at an undisclosed location.
Being a strictly private affair, the ceremony was attended by close family members, relatives, and a few intimate friends.
News of the joyous milestone was first shared by Kimya himself after he took to social media to celebrate solemnizing his union with his wife.

In a post seen by this writer, Kimya uploaded a photo of himself dressed in a wedding suit seated beside his bride, who stunned in a white gown, as the couple proudly displayed their wedding rings.
He captioned the post:
“We did it…”
The revelation of his nuptials excited fans and followers, who flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages for the newlywed couple.
The wedding remained under wraps, consistent with Kimya’s reserved personality.
Unlike his siblings who pursued global stardom, Kimya has been quietly pushing his rap career at a modest pace.
Bamboo and Erica’s Wedding
His marriage comes five years after his elder brother Bamboo tied the knot with Ugandan beauty Erica Mukisa.
The legendary rapper married his Ugandan fiancée in a private ceremony held in Ruiru, Kenya, in February 2019, after four years of dating.
The couple later ventured into ministry work together and co-authored books, with Erica openly sharing her past experiences involving witchcraft as part of their shared faith journey.

Erica Mukisa previously revealed that she had been exposed to witchcraft in childhood, a battle she overcame through salvation, forming a significant part of the couple’s testimony.
“Her grandmother on her paternal side was a powerful sorceress. She initiated Erica into witchcraft when she was just eight years old. For seven years Erica served the powers of darkness. She did not know anything, having been introduced to sorcery at a tender age. She became possessed by evil spirits and was satanic in every possible way you can imagine. Her salvation would later come through her uncle, evangelist Patrick Wandera. It’s been nine years since her deliverance but Erica recalls everything like it was yesterday,” Bamboo revealed in an interview with Daily Nation while speaking about his wife’s dark past.
