Former Kenyan police officer Linda Okello has opened up about the tough days she went through in the force, blaming an unfair boss for trying to break her spirit.
Now living in the United States, Linda took a trip down memory lane and shared a story that has left many talking.
The ex-cop, who once went viral after her photos in a tight skirt sparked debate online, revealed that her time in uniform was far from easy.
Linda quit the police service about four years ago and later moved abroad.
But as much as she has moved on, some memories still stand out, especially one transfer she believes was meant to punish her.
In a Facebook post seen by Nairobi News on Monday, January 5, Linda shared an old selfie taken when she was still a police officer.

The photo showed her in uniform, standing in front of the house she had been given at the time.
According to Linda, the photo was taken while she was stationed in Molo, a posting she claims was done on purpose to make her suffer.
She said one of her female bosses pushed for the transfer as a lesson.
“They wanted to push me to Molo so I could feel the pain,” Linda hinted in her post.
However, things did not go as planned. Linda revealed that she only stayed in Molo for three months before being transferred again, this time to Kitengela.
She added that despite the pressure and unfair treatment, things worked out in her favour.

Linda believes God had a different plan for her life, one that eventually saw her leave the force and start a new chapter abroad.
“A long time ago… when that woman sent me to Molo! That’s my house in the background. I only stayed for three months before moving to Kitengela. They said, ‘Let’s push her to Molo!’ Well, life had other plans,” she wrote.
Linda’s story has sparked mixed reactions online, with many praising her resilience while others questioned the transfer culture within the police service.
