Former musician turned philanthropist Akothee and her long time boo Nelly Oaks have shook the interwebs after photos of themselves together took over social media.
Nelly Oaks and Akothee were spotted at the French Embassy in Kenya on Monday, July 14, where the latter was representing her son Oyoo.
In photos sighted by Nairobi News, Nelly and Akothee looked all loved up as they pulled the couple card.
In her caption on social media, Akothee informed the world that she can pass for a Madam Diplomat following her close tight and connection with the international community.
She disclosed that they were accompanied by her daughter Vesha Shillan.
“Bonsoir! Last night I stepped out as the Représentante Officielle of Oyoo at the French National Day. Call me Madame Diplomatique , International Baby Mama duties activated. Merci beaucoup to the French Embassy for the classy soirée. Vive la co-parenting

The photos elicited mixed reactions online with many people congratulating them for looking like a power couple.
Others, however, slammed the two for always confusing their fans with their romance.
A number of their critics noted that they understand the couple parted many moons ago and did not expect to see the two together.
Akothee and Nelly Oaks’ link up did not come as a surprise to many since the two have always been on and off, with the former confessing their relationship will never ever come to an end.
This has been confusing most of her followers especially when she usually ditches Nelly, get married to other men and then going back to him when her other relationships go south.
Nelly and Akothee have been taunting their critics with many romantic moments even when they had publicly ‘broken up’.
It is however, not clear if their relationship is real or are just pulling stunts all in a bid to always remaining relevant.
