Man’s Body Found Two Years After Alleged Murder By Son In Kitui County

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have uncovered the body of a man who was reportedly murdered and secretly buried by his son over two years ago in Kitui County.

The suspect, identified as Musee Ngui, is accused of killing his father, Ngui Ngunza, and burying his body on their family property in Nguuni village, Mwingi West.

At the time of the incident, Musee allegedly misled relatives by claiming that his father had traveled, delaying any suspicion and prolonging the mystery of his sudden disappearance.

The case took a turn two weeks ago when Musee was arrested in Matuu, Machakos County, where he had been in hiding.

His arrest was initially linked to separate allegations of defiling and impregnating his two daughters.

While in custody, Musee reportedly confessed to killing his father and led detectives to the burial site a shallow grave located behind the family home.

The body was exhumed under heavy security as stunned villagers and family members watched.

Relatives said they were relieved to finally learn what had happened to their loved one and called on authorities to ensure justice is served.

Musee remains in police custody as investigations continue. He is expected to face multiple charges, including murder and sexual offenses.
