Geoffrey Mosiria, the Chief Officer for Citizen Engagement and Customer Service, has condemned an incident in which a woman was allegedly exposed naked by a man, pledging full support to the victim as she seeks justice through legal channels.
Mosiria met with the victim, identified as Marion Naipei, following the incident, assuring her that the matter would be handled in accordance with the law and that her dignity and rights would be protected.
During the meeting, Mosiria described the act as unacceptable and a serious violation of human dignity, warning that such actions have far-reaching consequences for families and communities.
“As a father of two daughters, I understand the deep trauma such incidents cause. Exposing someone’s sister, mother, or daughter is not only degrading but completely unacceptable in any society,” he said.
The chief officer emphasised that his office would collaborate closely with relevant authorities to support the victim and ensure accountability for those responsible.
He also urged the public to respect the dignity and safety of all citizens.
Mosiria’s response has been widely praised as an example of leadership grounded in empathy, integrity, and a strong commitment to justice, reinforcing calls for a safer and more respectful society where the rights of all individuals are protected.
