Fresh claims from Tanzania have shed new light on the reported breakup between Bongo Flava stars Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu, with allegations emerging that the singer walked away from the relationship after allegedly discovering evidence of infidelity.
The claims surfaced just days after Zuchu publicly announced that she had ended her relationship with Diamond Platnumz, whose real name is Naseeb Abdul, after six years together.

In her emotional statement, however, the singer did not reveal the specific reason behind the split, saying only that she had chosen herself and was focusing on healing and her music career.
According to popular Tanzanian tea master Carry Mastory, Zuchu allegedly parted ways with Diamond after catching him red-handed cheating.
Carry Mastory claimed that Zuchu came across text messages allegedly exchanged between Diamond and one of his househelps.
The reports allege that the househelp had asked the singer for money, which Diamond reportedly sent without hesitation.
The blogger further alleged that Zuchu discovered additional conversations in which Diamond praised the househelp for her bedroom prowess, leaving the singer devastated and prompting her decision to end the relationship.
As of the time of publication, neither Diamond Platnumz nor Zuchu has publicly responded to the latest allegations, and the claims remain unverified.
As previously reported by Nairobi News, Zuchu shocked fans across East Africa after announcing that her relationship with Diamond had come to an end.
In a heartfelt message shared on her Instagram Stories, the Sukari hitmaker revealed that she had decided to choose herself after six years with the Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) boss.
She also requested privacy as she focused on healing, her health and her music career, ending her statement with the Islamic prayer, “Hasbunallahu waniimal Wakiil,” indicating she was entrusting the difficult situation to God.
The breakup announcement came amid widespread speculation surrounding the couple’s relationship, including claims by Diamond’s close associate Baba Levo that Zuchu was expecting a child.
However, Zuchu did not address the pregnancy rumours in her statement.
A Relationship Filled With Highs and Lows
Diamond and Zuchu’s romance has long been one of East Africa’s most talked-about celebrity relationships.
Initially keeping their relationship private, the two eventually went public and became one of Tanzania’s most celebrated power couples.
Throughout their relationship, fans witnessed lavish gifts, romantic vacations, chart-topping collaborations and frequent public displays of affection.
However, the romance was also marked by recurring breakup rumours and reconciliations, with reports of misunderstandings often making headlines.

Following Zuchu’s latest announcement, social media has been awash with speculation over what could have caused the split, with many fans drawing comparisons to Diamond’s previous high-profile relationships with Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan and Kenyan model Tanasha Donna.
While Carry Mastory’s allegations have generated significant discussion online, the claims have not been independently verified, and Diamond has yet to publicly address them.
Fans are now waiting to see whether either of the two music stars will break their silence on the latest reports.
