Radio 47 Breakfast Show host Alex Mwakideu has shut down claims that he intentionally set up his former brother-in-law Robert Burale for failure and ridicule by hosting him on his podcast.
Alex categorically stated that he hosted his ex brother-in-law who opened up about his marriage with Rozinah Mwakideu and closed it at that but had to also invite his sister following a special request from Burale.
According to the media personality, it was Burale himself who requested him to host Rozinah on his podcast so that she too can also open up about her side of the story.
That, coupled up with countless requests from his fans and followers informed his decision to have his sister Rozinah on his podcast.
Alex insisted that he had no reason to set up Burale and paint him in bad light.
He noted that Burale still remains his brother and would not have done anything to harm him and his reputation in any way.
These, Mwakideu disclosed while answering questions from his co-host Emmanuel Mwashunbe and other Kenyans during their morning show on Radio 47.
“I did not set up Burale. I don’t have any reason to do that. So after throwing him under the bus, then what? What would I gain from doing that? If anything, it was Burale himself who asked me to host my sister on my show so that she can share her side too. And fans had also requested me to host Rozinah so that she can share her truths,” Mwakideu said.

He revealed that the interview was not out of vengeance and vendetta as both parties had moved on and healed from their divorce.
Mwakideu also made it clear that he did not know about almost everything Rozinah shared with him on the podcast.
“This was not planned. It’s not revenge or we did not intend to hurt anyone. Burale and people who had watched his interview asked me to bring Rozinah and I obliged,” he added.
Mwakideu’s clarification came hours before Rozinah also made a public statement to make the record straight.
Rozinah came out and addressed people who have been dragging her online days after sharing her unfortunate experiences with ex-husband Robert Burale.
As earlier reported by Nairobi News, Rozinah recently had a sit down with her brother on his podcast where she opened about her marriage to the motivational speaker.

In the podcast, the mother of one exposed the other side of Robert Burale that most people are not familiar with.
From manipulation, to gay tendencies to conmanship, Rozinah claimed she went through it all while married to Burale.
It did not end at that, Rozinah went as far as disclosing their bedroom matters, revealing that Burale starved her sexually during their time together, in the guise of celibacy.
Her revelation, which came about 13 years after divorcing Robert did not settle well with a cross section of Kenyans who took to dragging her and her brother Alex online for setting up Burale.
Many claimed her interview painted Burale in bad light, contrary to how the latter painted her on the same platform hosted by Alex Mwakideu.
The interwebs was divided with some thanking and supporting Rozinah for opening up about her struggles in marriage with Burale.
Others, however, picked issue with the siblings and had a field day with them on social media.
