The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is offering a Sh1 million bounty on the head of Kware dumpsite murder suspect Collins Jumaisi Khalusha.
As earlier reported by a cross section of the Kenyan media, Collins escaped from police custody in August 2024.
The suspect had been arrested and subsequently held over the murder of several women whose bodies and parts were retrieved from from the Kware dumpsite in Nairobi.

In a public statement issued on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, the DCI reminded the public that Collins is still wanted by the police.
The statement urged the public to assist in nabbing the suspect with a promise of Sh 1million reward for any source who will successfully lead to the arrest of Collins Jumaisi.
The DCI provided contact information through which anyone with information about the suspect can communicate with the police.

Collins Jumaisi Khalusha, the prime suspect in the monstrous killing of several women whose bodies and parts were retrieved from the Kware dumpsite in Nairobi is still wanted by police. Jumaisi escaped from custody in August 2024, moments ahead of his arraignment for murder.
The National Police Service hereby pledges a cash reward of Sh1 million to anyone who provides credible information that will assist in the re-arrest of the suspect.

It should be noted that Collins escaped from custody just hours before he was due to be charged with murder.
The suspect, who hails from Shiru-sub location in Shaviringa, Hamisi Sub-county, Vihiga County, escaped alongside 12 other crime suspects who were being held at the Gigiri Police Station, Nairobi.
The discovery of the bodies of Collins’ victims sent panic across the country with countless Kenyans condemning the perpetrator for the heinous acts.
His subsequent arrest brought relief in the hearts of many Kenyans but their joy was cut short following his mysterious escape.
