Former Kenya Police Service officer Samidoh has blasted a veteran Canada-based events promoter Maina for chasing clout using his name.
The Mugithi maestro was forced to unleash fire after Maina shared a video of himself explaining how the musician let him down because of greed for money.
In a TikTok video sighted by this site, Maina narrated how he made Samidoh famous by giving him his first ever international shows in Germany.
Maina claimed that Samidoh and other promoters crossed him, even after having booked the star for a music tour in Germany.
According to Maina, he had booked musician for a show in Germany, only for him to bail on the eleventh hour.
Maina disclosed that he had made arrangements to have Samidoh perform in Germany but was shocked when the musician cancelled everything in last minute and went ahead to perform in South Sudan.

While accusing Samidoh for a number of breaches on their contract, Maina said Samidoh was driven by greed and turned down his event for one that had been slated for South Sudan.
He noted that other events promoters lured the popular singer with money and booked him for a South Sudan show, in a move that saw the artist cancel their initial agreement.
In his video post, the promoter accused the artist and his competitors in the events promotion scene of killing the industry with their greed.
Well, in a quick rejoinder, Samidoh took to social media and called out Maina for his poor organisation and management skills.
According to the star, he had agreed to perform in Germany at Maina’s event but he failed him by not securing his Visa in time.
This forced him to accept the South Sudan event, something that did not go down well with Maina.
For starters, the Mugithi sensation denied claims that Maina made him the popular Mugithi star he is today.

One, Starting a conversation with an artist doesn’t mean you are in a marriage setup😂. Its also foolish of you to start advertising a show before the visa is out. That will cost you big.

He wrapped up reminding Maina that he finally made it without his held.
The singer stated that Maina had vowed that Samidoh will never amount to anything without his help.
He said that he made it even without Maina’s help as he cannot dictate who can or cannot take over Germany without his aid.

Samidoh’s clap back attracted the attention of his fans who rallied behind him and duly slammed Maina for trying to tarnish their star’s name.
Others, however, urged him to observe humility and deal with promoters in the best ways possible.
