In his inaugural speech as Deputy President, Kithure Kindiki expressed his deep gratitude for the opportunity to serve under President William Ruto.
He emphasized his commitment not to disappoint the President or the nation.
“I assure you before this gathering and before God that I will not let you down,” Kindiki stated, underscoring the significance of the role he has been entrusted with.
He described the honor of serving Ruto as a pivotal moment in his career, stating, “Words cannot fully capture my gratitude today.
I thank Almighty God, who guides our paths, and I am especially grateful to you, sir, for this opportunity.”
Reflecting on their nearly two-decade-long relationship, Kindiki noted,
“I’ve been your political student for almost 20 years, and my time spent learning from you has been invaluable in navigating the political landscape.”
The Deputy President committed to supporting Ruto in achieving the country’s shared goals, promising unwavering loyalty and collaboration with fellow government officials.
“I pledge to assist you, alongside our colleagues, in building a Kenya that is more inclusive, democratic, and filled with opportunities.
I vow to provide you with the necessary support to elevate this nation to greater heights,” Kindiki declared.
He reiterated his dedication, stating, “I commit before this assembly, the Almighty, and the Constitution that I will serve you loyally and faithfully.
I will work diligently to help ease the burdens you carry as our leader.”
Kindiki’s address sets a tone of unity and determination as he embarks on his new role, emphasizing a collaborative effort to advance the nation’s aspirations.
