Fans roast Bahati and Diana Marua on 9th marriage anniversary: “You look like AI characters!”

Kenyan celebrity couple Bahati and Diana Marua have once again found themselves on the receiving end of harsh criticism from netizens, this time during what was supposed to be their romantic 9th wedding anniversary celebration.

Once adored as Kenya’s power couple, the Bahatis seem to have lost their shine in the eyes of fans, who now accuse them of constant clout-chasing and publicity stunts.

On Monday, October 20, 2025, Bahati took to social media to celebrate nine years of marriage with Diana.

The singer shared a video of himself dancing with his wife in their lavish living room before stepping out for a private celebration.

In his caption, Bahati couldn’t hide his excitement, revealing he had prepared nine special gifts for his wife and asked fans to suggest what else he could add to the list.

“TODAY marks 9 YEARS since we got MARRIED 🌹 Happy 9TH ANNIVERSARY TO THE BAHATI’S ❤️ 9 GIFTS 🎁 LOADING TO CELEBRATE THIS…. NAME A GIFT THAT SHOULD NOT MISS 😉,” he wrote.

While a section of fans congratulated the pair for their milestone, others were less kind.

Critics flooded the comments section with sarcastic remarks, mocking Diana’s outfit and the couple’s overall look.

Diana, who wore a revealing black dress, became the main target of online trolls who claimed the outfit was inappropriate for a married woman.

One fan, Clevix Bahati, sparked even more laughter after claiming the couple looked like AI generated characters.

“Y’all look like AI generated characters 👺,” his namesake, Clevix Bahati revealed.

His statement opened the floodgates for more mocking comments, with several users echoing his sentiments.
