Forex Trader Denno Bright’s Death Linked to Alcohol Poisoning, Sammy Boy Reveals

The tragic death of 25-year-old Kenyan forex trader Denno Bright has been attributed to alleged alcohol poisoning, according to his close friend Sammy Boy.

The young man reportedly consumed excessive amounts of alcohol during a stay in Mombasa, an ordeal his body could not endure.

In an interview with content creator Mungai Eve, Sammy Boy shed light on the circumstances leading to Denno’s untimely demise.

“He died from alcohol poisoning. He drank without eating. His body couldn’t handle the alcohol,” Sammy Boy explained.

Alcohol poisoning occurs when excessive alcohol intake overwhelms the body’s ability to metabolize it, leading to toxic levels in the bloodstream.

“There’s a limit to how much alcohol the body can handle. Beyond that, it becomes poisonous,” Sammy Boy added, noting that Denno’s pancreas may have been unable to process the high alcohol content.

A video circulating online has provided chilling glimpses of Denno’s last moments. The footage, which has since gone viral, shows the young trader intoxicated and unable to support himself. Friends in the video attempt to carry him to a bedroom after what appears to be a night of heavy drinking and partying.

In the video, Denno, dressed in a blue sleeveless shirt and grey trousers, is seen lying on the floor as two men struggle to lift him. Background conversations reveal that one friend urged the person recording the scene to stop, but she dismissed the plea, stating, “Lazima evidence” (There must be evidence).

Once Denno was moved to the bedroom, one of the friends remarked, “Lala hapo” (Sleep there), before the audio becomes inaudible.

The incident has come closely on the heels of the death of another trader, known as Akoko Billionaire. Akoko was reportedly killed by a mob in Kibra under unclear circumstances, compounding the grief and concern within the community.
