Former KTN cameraman Geoffrey Miring’u reported missing

Police and family members are appealing for information following the disappearance of former KTN cameraman Geoffrey Kamau Miring’u, who has been missing since November 25, 2025.

Miring’u, a resident of Vatican Court in Syokimau along Katani Road, was last seen at his establishment, Red Cedar Resort, located near Mawingo in Nyandarua County.

According to relatives, he left the resort on Tuesday but did not return home as expected.

His vehicle was later discovered abandoned on a road skirting the Aberdare Forest, near Ndunyu Njeru, raising concern among investigators and loved ones.

Authorities have not yet disclosed further details about the condition of the vehicle or any clues recovered at the scene.

Family members describe Miring’u as a well-known figure in Kenya’s media and hospitality circles, having worked for years in broadcast production before moving into business.

His sudden disappearance has left colleagues and relatives deeply distressed.

Police in Nyandarua and Machakos counties have launched a joint search, urging anyone who may have seen Miring’u or has information about his whereabouts to come forward.
